A new law was passed recently, Colorado House Bill 1170 (HB19-1170), that effects the legal relationship between landlords & their tenants. The changes to the Colorado statute increase “tenant protections relating to the residential warranty of habitability.”

The first caller asks whether or not it’s better to have his daughter’s new car in his, or her name.

The next caller wants to know if he’s going to need a new Deed of Trust, should he pass and transfer ownership of the house he’s paid off to a relative.
